Bette Phelan, Certified Kripalu Yoga TeacherBette Phelan, founder of Learn Yoga Online has been practicing, studying and teaching yoga for over 30 years. She is a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher and Certified Hypnotherapist and Medical Hypnotherapist.

Bette has been the lead yoga teacher at Four Seasons Hualalai since 1997. She also teaches yoga classes and offers private yoga instruction in Waikoloa Village. She has taught at many resorts and yoga centers in Hawaii and on the Mainland. She is the co-founder of Tropical Tune-Ups Retreats and has led several week-long yoga and wellness retreats on the Big Island.

Bette currently has two recordings available for sale: "Yoga for Strength, Relaxation, Vitality & Relaxation", a complete yoga program comprised of four 45-minute yoga session available on cassette or CD and "Guided Relaxation for Stress Reduction & Deep Sleep" available on CD or MP3.

Bette started Learn Yoga Online with the vision of making yoga accessible to people who may not have access to classes in their community or for people who may not feel comfortable attending classes.

The yoga style presented at Learn Yoga Online draws inspiration from Kripalu Yoga. Kripalu Yoga focuses on listening to and respecting the messages of the body through the development of a non-judgmental state of awareness. It invites gentle and compassionate relationship with one's self and the world.
